Established in 2008, Ma’an Development Company (MDC) is a privately held company jointly owned by South Company for Construction and Development, a wholly owned subsidiary of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, and Al-Hussein Bin Talal University.
Our objective is to attract investment across a diverse range of sectors by creating a fully integrated investment environment supported by strategic planning, advanced infrastructure, and comprehensive support services. MDC also fosters strategic partnerships with both the public and private sectors to support economic development, create employment opportunities, and empower local communities through training, capacity building, and greater participation in the development process, ensuring they benefit from the investment opportunities generated within the Ma'an Development Area (MDA).
